What To Write In a Birthday Card

Source: solopress.com

When it comes to card writing there are 2 types of people: those who can pick up a pen and write away and those of us who struggle to get past ‘Happy Birthday’. You may want to add a personal message to celebrate the person or crack a joke but don’t know what to write. Here at Printster we have collated some of the best options to help you with your next card.

If you are looking for something simple but effective try one of these:

Happy Birthday!

  • The day is all yours — have fun!
  • Another year older, another year better.
  • Hope this day is as special as you.
  • Happy birthday to you! Go and enjoy a huge slice of cake.
  • Time for cake, presents, and a lot of fun. Happy birthday to you!

To make them laugh:

  • Happy birthday to one of the few people whose birthday I can remember without a Facebook reminder!
  • Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional.
  • It’s scientifically proven that people who have more birthdays live longer.
  • Happy birthday, don’t be sad. At least you are not as old as you are going to be next year. Be happy thinking about that!
  • Happy birthday, dear. Smile! Because with your increasing age, your teeth might be gone sooner than you think.

Things can get more tricky and repetitive when it comes to a group card. One of those times when you want to stand out but not quick enough to know what to say OR have enough room! Here we have listed some short but effective phrases:

  • Whatever you wish for, I second that!
  • Party like it’s your birthday! Because…you know why!
  • Birthday cheers!
  • You make work a lot less like work. Thanks for all you do!
  • Here’s to a great birthday!

& lastly some simple signing offs:

  • Lots of love,
  • Love always,
  • Best Wishes,
  • Hugs and Kisses,
  • All our love,
